3 April 2008 - Most online games now work again

The online scoring function has not worked for a very long time. Not long ago most of the online games where fixed though. The games that now work are: Spaze Invaderz, CoLoRs NEXT, RI2, Sub-Games and Jacky Bomb. Note Robotic Invasion does not work. Neither do any of the download games. The problem can't be fixed at the moment. If it's possible in the future a re-release is certain. You can access the arcade here.

6 January 2008 - Sub-Games released

You can now try out the new overhauled version of Sub-Game called Sub-Games. This new version contains an all new arcade mode, as well as the classic mode. The classic mode plays like the original game, only now with new graphics. The arcade is a more accessible mode where missions will be added from time to time. Online high score maybe added later when it becomes technically possible. Start playing here.

A note concerning the game: This release is a small part of a very ambitious project TechVision had in mind for Sub-Games. Maybe one day those plans will be realized.

31 October 2007 - New platform game underway
It's always good to bring positive news: A new platform game is currently being created. It's very exciting as everything is going great so far. Basic engine is almost complete. Hopefully within the next month or so the engine will be complete. But there's no rush. This game is going to take quite some time, but hopefully it will be worth it. Tidbits of info will be available as the project progresses.
13 September 2007 - Status

To put it mildly, it's been quite a while. TechVision has laid pretty low for the last year or more. During the last couple of weeks activity has resurrected. Two new projects are now under work. You will hear more about them when the time is right.

Note concerning the highscores: Neither viewing or submitting works right now. When Clickteam releases Vitalize 4 all games will be updated. This also means that all current download games are, and will continue to be non-working when it comes to high score submitting. The coming versions will rectify this problem.

1 August 2006 - Hiscore pages not working

The high scores are working, so it's a bit different from the other hiscore problems. It's just that the php pages which enables you to view the scores online aren't working. You can still see them in-game, and submitting scores still works fine.

The site has now been moved to the new server, and a new domain name is in place: http://techvision-games.com. The site has some new features, of which the most noteworthy is the ability to view the highscores of all the download games at their respective pages. A lot of tweaks and changes have been made. All download and online games are updated with the new url. The page now uses quite a lot of php, to view scores, send mail and submit/unsubmit newsletters. If you find any link errors or such, please contact TechVision.
5 April 2005 - Website restructuring
Because of the lack of space on the current server a dedicated webspace and domain is now being prepared for the hosting of the TechVision website. There will not be a new design but a major restructuring will take place. Most of these changes will not make any diffrence to the visitor, but will make the maintaining of the site a bit easier. There isn't any deadline or anything, but the project started today. You will be notified of the progress.

Spaze Invaderz is also coming along nicely. The game is expected to be ready for final testing very soon.
19 October 2004 - Spaze Invaderz 2 nearing completion
The downlaod version of Spaze Invaderz (and the new online, so far entitled Spaze Invaderz 2) has been a long time coming. Now the game is almost ready. the decision to create original graphics for the game was taken a short while back. The very first version of the game had same graphics the game has today. Therefore it's about time to give it a graphic overhaul. The game also has a new interface now. You can read more at the project page.

A long time has passed since the last update on the site. It's close to three months ago. The target is to at least have a monthly update.

Robotic Invasion Online will follow soon (And then RI2 and RI2 Online).

27 May 2004 - New Sub-Game New screen + preview updated
TechVision has released a screen from Sub-Game New. The game is still very much work in progress, but now the game design is really rolling.
27 May 2004 - Robotic Invasion and RI2 to be re-released.
TechVision's two platform games are to receive the same treatment as CoLoRs did last year. Like CoLoRs, the two games uses the fit to current screensize feature. In retrospect this was the wrong move, since users should be given the choice of fullscreen/windowed. What's even worse is that the current fullscreen option will not change the screen size (therefore it's called fit to screensize) but instead stretch the image. The new way is proper fullscreen where the screensize will be changed by the program. The people who has the most problems with the current method, is the people who are using very high resolution settings. They will definitely benefit from the new solution. Whetever to include more changes such as online high score is currently being debated. Expect the re-releases this summer.
22 May 2004 - CoLoRs NEXT Online released
TechVision has released an online version of the latest game, CoLoRs NEXT. The game is basically the same with both of the original modes. Due to the fact that this version is played in the browser you will (of course) not be able to play it in fullscreen mode. You can't change the keylayout either. Other than that it's the same game. If you haven't played CoLoRs NEXT yet, head over to the Arcade, and start playing!
10 May 2004 - Note about online high scores
The scores now appear to be working again. If any problems are encountered, please conctact TechVision.
6 May 2004 - Note: Online high score boards not working
The V-Cade who is responsible for the online high score boards in three TechVision games are switching to a new server. Please note that you will not be able to view the online high score boards for CoLoRs and CoLoRs NEXT. Spaze Invaderz World League is not functioning until the server switch is in place. Whetever any submitted scores will be saved while the the new server is being set up is questionable.

27 December 2003 - CoLoRs 1.3 released
The new version of CoLoRs has been released. The two most important features is the new online high score board, so you will be able to compare your score with all the other players of CoLoRs. The second is the choice you now have between windowed/fullscreen mode. If you were using a very high monitor resolution it would make the former version of this game slow, even on powerful computers. Now you can choose, where before you had to resize your desktop to make it play properly (if you had a very high resolution). Check the games section for the new version of CoLoRs.
14 December 2003 - TechVision is still here
Not much has been going on lately. Sub-Game New is not going to come out this year. It hasn't been worked on for ages now. This will hopefully change in the coming holidays. CoLoRs will be updated with with an online score submitting feature. Spaze Invaderz World League will also be sent out as a download game in the near future.
21 September 2003 - Spaze Invaderz World League launched
TechVision has launched a new version of Spaze Invaderz. In this version you can play against the highscores of everyone who play the game. The scores are now stored on a server, where before they were saved on your local machine. Think you have what it takes to become one of the best Spaze Invaderz players? Head over to the arcade!
21 September 2003 - Sub-Game New level design is rolling
The level design on Sub-Game New's specific game modes has begone. The game is expected to have about three game modes, where one of them is the "Classic" mode. The classic mode plays like the Sub-Game that's currently in the "Arcade" section. That mode has been completed. Now work has begune on the "+" mode as it's dubbed for the time being. The game is still sceduled for a end 2003 release. The "Projects" page has been updated, with news concerning both games there.
18 August 2003 - Spaze Invaderz postponed + Sub-Game news
Spaze Invaderz will not be out in August. The development of the game relies on some plugins that the current software doesn't support. Therefore the game has been postponed. It's not all bad news however. Development on Sub-Game New has sped up. The first play mode has been completed. TechVision targets a winter 2003 release. Expect more news and shots this fall/winter.
July 14 2003 - Spaze Invaderz download version in August
Spaze Invaderz, the download version, is on the way. The game will be more or less a straight port of the version found in the arcade. There will be changes to the menu, and the game will be in fullscreen. It's not yet decided if any additional features will be included.
1 June 2003 - Version 7 of the TechVision website
Welcome to the new website of TechVision. Hope you like it. What's new, apart from the apparent new lick of paint? On the right side of this page you can see a new feature of the site. You can submit your e-mail address, to know when the site is updated. You won't receive any spammails for sure. The arcade has a new game in it. Well almost new. It's Spaze Invaderz the version released earlier this year at planet-klik.com.

The new site format
The new site has been built in xhtml 1.0. The previous site was built in html 4.01. The new format makes it even more accessible to the different kinds of devices and browsers users connect to the internet with. The increased use of cascading style sheets, has also made it possible to create nice graphical stylings without major affects of the kb size each page clock in at.
